I was at the Grove in Anaheim for Mat’s show. Great show as always. It was cool to hear the new songs live. I love the still shots on this blog. If you’re going to open for a band, it helps when it’s Keane. What a solid show!
Bring on some tour bus, hotel room, lounge time kind of footage! Tell Matt to check out http://www.jarrodjones.com (my blog) and see the VLOG entry “Jones Family Van Dancing.” My 2 year old and 4 year old are singing every word of Mat’s “Closer To Love” and dancing in their car seats. For our anniversary, I’m taking my wife to see Mat at B’ham, AL City Stages in June. We love his music.
I’m lovin’ these videos. I’ve always wanted Mat to do backstage, candid type videos like a lot of other bands do, so I really like this new blog. It was worth the wait. Keep the videos comin’
keep the videos coming! i’m horrified at the dressing room that the grove gave you. that’s just not right….but mat was a good sport and gave us his own version of “mtv cribs.” i waited outside after the concert to see if mat would come out, but sadly he didn’t. i’m a huge fan of mat’s and was thrilled to see him twice this past weekend. sang every song outloud that i knew! amazing show! looking forward to the next video!
MAT!!! Before I start, let me just say I absolutely love the blog and the videos….. You were amazing at the anaheim concert (I was the one who raced through the crowd to the front as soon as you came on, and yes I was also the one jumping up and down singing the whole time) I have seen you perform at the Roxy once, the House of Blues in Hollywood twice, and the House of Blues in San Diego once. So the anaheim concert was my 5th time seeing you perform and like always it was breath taking! I don’t know if you remember, but my friend and I met you in San Diego last year after the concert, we were the ones who were holding the “I heart Mat” sign and made you cookies Haha so we tried to meet you again after the show in anaheim, but unfortunately we never did. Well hopefully you read this and know how much you inspire your fans, and keep on doing exactly what you have been. Good luck with the rest of the tour!
