When we arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas today it was a little jarring. We had just come from Denver, where the air was clean and crisp and we were surrounding with beautiful mountains. Nature. Las Vegas as we all know has a little bit different vibe…

Although different, we all had a great time in Vegas. The hotel room had a great view of “The Strip”, and a beautiful pool area. There was waterfalls, private cabanas, and all kinds of delicious food. We had an amazing sushi dinner before the show, and Mat played a little poker. Surprisingly, Mat has quite the poker face.

The show was specifically for a few lucky radio contest winners. The venue was small, and Mat seemed really excited to be playing for a much smaller, more intimate crowd. It was apparently something he hadn’t done years. I hope everyone that was there enjoyed it as much as he did. Only one stop left on the tour! Conan!

What a look! Sexy! Cked your blog in the middle of a sleepless night…I went back smiling!
First of all, I just want to THANK YOU for the Free Show you did Sponsored by WRMF@the Blue Martini last night…That was AWESOME!!!!!
As far as (Most Of)The “Fans” there even though I knew NONE of Them, other than a select Few I want to APOLOGIZE for THE UNFORGIVEABLE RUDENESS of those who were talking, and overall werent even giving you the RESPECT to SHUT their PIEHOLES for 20 or so odd Minutes you were up there to GIVE you The Respect You CERTAINLY DESERVE for Showing up there@NO EXPENSE(FREE)!!!!
I certainly can’t blame you for the shorter than usual outing with the Response(or lack there of you received from most of the CROWD)!!!!
I think you’re a TALENT to be reckoned with,…between your exceptional writing, soulful voice&overall COOLNESS you EARNED all the POSITIVE ATTENTION you are getting right now&so richly DESERVE!!!!
It’s just SAD that you had to be up there in front of a bunch of stuck-up,snotty, rich ASSHOLES who shouldn’t have even been there if they had NO INTEREST in your MUSIC or what you had to say!!!!
I hope you don’t let this affect what you think of SFLA, although I’m originally from CLEVELAND&maybe thats where I learned ALWAYS to Give someone there due&atleast not talk as loud as they were last night practically drowning-out a soft-spoken Brilliant Song-writer/Singer such as your self!!!
I’m sorry to keep going on about it, but I think something had to be said&although I’ve NEVER been one to COMMENT on things such as this, It had to be done!!!
Good luck on the rest of your tour&if you come back CHARGE US&I KNOW I’ll be the first one to PAY for a Ticket&Give you the ATTENTION YOU DESERVE!!!
TAKE CARE!!!
